A4 Diff TT install
I have been working on this car since Oct last year. Bought it in Aug, drove it for a couple of months then took apart a perfectly good running car.
Anyway, I bought a 3.42 3 rib diff to beef up, an A4 to have built and a 2004 TT in order to get the stronger unit. It all went together this weekend.
The diff got DTE shafts, C6 posi kit and DTE springs. Very simple to work on thanks to the article by "It's Go time". The TT is a 2004 unit from a buddy. And the trans was done by Performabuilt.
It is a little nerve wracking doing this on the floor, but with my brothers help we pulled it off with a floor jack, and a jack cradle made of 2x4's. Being a bit edgy, I only took a few photos. So I thought I'd share them.

I also took the opportunity to clean and paint the rear frame section as it was rather gross from NJ salt.
BTW, my first Corvette.
Enjoy!

btw thats a yank 3600rpm stall converter right?
I bought a used 3 rib 3.42 diff here on the forum. They do come around from time to time. If I remember right, it was $400.
I didn't change gears. I just added the DTE left and right shafts, C6 posi clutches and the DTE belville springs. I bought all the seals etc from GM through Richie Rich here on the forums. I didn't replace bearings etc. They were fine.
And yes, a Yank SS3600, also bought here on the forum new in the box for half off because the fellow sold his car before installing it.
Good luck!
Ron
