Hey guys, just a quick question, I tried my hazard button and it works but you have to keep it pushed in for it to function. The mechanism that clicks to keep it pushed in seems to be broken. My question is, is the mechanism to click it in place built into the hazard switch part#10359036 so replacing this part will fix my issue? Thanks

Youll have to replace it. I replaced mine about two years ago and its a piece of work. Youll have to disassemble the center console, including the removal of the radio to get to it. It took me about 3 hrs because replacing the new switch was harder than removing the old switch. Youll have to reach inside, under, and behind the center AC grill. I finally ended up just removing the center grill to replace it. Among all the DIY repairs i made, THIS was the toughest. But i had the pleasure of tackling this repair on my own and saving the $400 the dealership would have charged me. Just save a Saturday afternoon good buddy.
Ok thanks for confirming that is the part I need to replace but wow I had no idea it would be so difficult to do it. But I guess it has to be done because it bugs me knowing it doesn't stay in as it should.

Sorry I didn't have better news, Jason, but I believe on the forum there is a step by step diagram on how to replace the switch. I would look this up to make the repair easier.
