x pipe w/cat delete-CODES
IF I INSTALL AN X PIPE WITH CAT DELETES USING THE ORIGINAL SENSORS & LOCATIONS, WILL I HAVE ANY CODES THAT WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED/RESET.
2001 COUPE, STOCK MANIFOLDS AND Ti exhaust.
Any help or advise would be appreciated.

Yes, you'll set fail codes on the after-cat O2 sensors. you will need to get those signals deleted via tuning software (LS1 Edit, etc) or you can use O2 "simulators" plugged into the rear cat harnesses.
You may also experience some very loud backfiring occasionally when winding up beyond 4000 RPM and coasting back down.

I ran all sensors in my catless LG X-pipe untuned and I got a "slow to switch"code from the O2's. I replaced them with new sensors and reset the ecu and the code didn't pop back up for about a year. I got a tune with my cam install and they took care of any code problems with the tune.
