Ok car was running good In chicago, Changed to a Zo6 style granatelli MAF, Car felt a little quicker up top but wouldnt Spin a tire like it did with the stock 1, I use to be able to stand on it and It would Spin a tire, After about 80 miles it was acting better, sometimes spin a tire, So i end up going to the track for the first time and running a 13.4 @105 But the car felt like it lost low end power, So i ended up driving the car from Chicago to az, get to Az and the Car Is running Like Total Crap, feels like the Cats are cloged and the SES light came on, Call up the dealer and bring it in, I swapped my Meter back to stock and It was still running the same. And totally ran like poopie. I wrote down the code for the dealer and even a-taped my car with a buddy everything was all over and total timen was like 23*. Call up dealer and they Code wasnt there he said and he said the computer was missing a few programs or something and they had to re program the computer, So i pick the car back up It feeels quicker up top But NOTHING down low Car wont even Brake tq and spin a tire, So with the stock meter on the car i head back to the track 13.7 at 101 And keeps getting worse and worse i left with a 14.2.
Could it be the program? Its like it lost all low end Perf What do you all think and has anyone had this problem? :cry
Re: Having Problems with my c5 Runnig like CRAP (GMNightmare)
I can't comment on your tuning issues, but I know there's a BIG difference in performance between the kind of cool weather you'll get in Chicago as compared with the heat of Arizona. I find on my Z06 that on these cool dry days I can break the tires loose in first or second at nearly any speed. On a hot day, however, the less-dense air, coupled with the increased tire grip on a hot road, really makes the Z feel sluggish, especially at the bottom end.
