98 Cd Shuttle install, can't find the 3wires!

98 Cd Shuttle install, can't find the 3wires!
I tried, really... the Dk Green wire is nowhere to be found. Tried the fusebox wire, around the module. My HU is the cassette style with the aux button. I have the wiring harness and found the 4wire plug just fine. Now I need an asprin.
I did find a posting about the missing 3 wire that suggested you just wire to the Blk/Wht ground at the fuse box, and a full time Org 12v, that worked to run the shuttle and loading but no feed back to the HU on any of the Drk Grn wires that I could see.
Any ideas????
