The only hard part is taking the stock exhaust off. If you have a lift makes it easier. If not your going to have to get rear end high off ground to wiggle the flange of the stock exhaust out. One of my flanges came out easy an the other I cut off after a few mins of frustration. You'll see what I mean when you attempt.
After stock exhaust is out it's easy from there on out. It may take a while to get the tips perfect but just keep playing with them an you'll get um straight.
Post i made for installing mine, including getting the car high enough to remove the stock exhaust without cutting it off (really only worth saving if you have a z06 ti exhaust) http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ck-system.html
I actually just reversed the procedure this weekend and reinstalled the factory ti system.
Just don't try forcing the pipes into the mufflers too far when you join everything up. It might seem like you'd want the joint pushed further together to get it to align and clear the body better, but the system will actually work better if you fight that urge.
And no, don't cut the factory exhaust if you have a Z06. It's worth about $400 if you sell it.
