Default A Thank You

To this forum and Bill Curley. I wasn't sure where to post this but this is where I got my recent help.

So, I just got my project car on the road. I'll get some pics up on general when the weather improves. Yesterday I took it on it's first drive of much distance and to get it inspected. When I stopped for gas the pass window wouldn't go up...hmmmm? I figured "oh great something else to fix"

Then a few miles down the road all hell broke loose... Reduced engine power, no oil pressure, temp pegged, service engine soon, service ride control, check tire pressure and a few more I don't remember. I got off the road as quick as I could fearing the worst.

I looked under the hood and everything looked normal. After about 5 minutes I started it up and everything was back to normal except the window. Drove to the inspection station, got the sticker and put a few more miles on. Got home and told Laurie to get in for a ride. Got on the interstate and jumped on it pretty good in first & second....all the alarms went off again.

To shorten the story, I found the problem here in 5 minutes by searching for "Multiple Messages" I quickly found a couple threads with the same issue sugesting the door connectors. But here's the thing....if not for the photo Bill posted, I never would have seen the one deformed female pin. Mine looked EXACTLY like the one in his photo. No corrosion just the one sockt that looked a little different.

I can't remember all the things I have figured out on this project with the help of this forum. But this last one really blew my mind.

Thank You!

A lot of us have used this forum and it's members to figure out issues with there cars. There is a bunch of guys that routinely volunteer trier time to help you solve an issue.
This is priceless to me. I've used all these people over the last two years. Bill and evilTwin by far the most!
