Sounds and looks like it is going to be! 
But it sure would be interesting to see if the C6's have this in the DTC's, especially since the 2004's were the predecessors for the C6's platform!
Either way, dude has a 2002, but I wonder if for some reason or another he actually has a later model ALT or that one is just not re-built correctly -
sucks because he is so far away and parts are not readily available or as it looks thus far no tuner to help out either! Bummer!
Regardless, something is not allowing the F Terminal to get the proper signal and setting the DTC for his Vette!
So what can we do to help him out?

Well I contacted an experienced vette repair guy in Sweden and he told me that he could tell it not to report this code as he has the equipment for it but he thought that maybe the battery is not working properly due to it being discharged several times, when the previous alt died on me.
