I have a 2001 Corvette that has an A/C problem. It has the individual controls for each side.
It only blows warm air on both sides. Unit is charged and I was told the Temperature Valve/Blend Actuators needed to be replaced. Does that sound right ? If so, any words of advice on replacing them ?
Thanks in advance for the help! Gary

I was reading the other day (searching for answers of my own) that the vent doors need "reprogrammed" or re-initialized. I don't remember exactly what forum it was on, but there was a procedure for resetting the doors after having done a battery replacement. So, if you had the cables off recently, you might do some searching for terms like those above, or relearn, or whatever.
Not sure if the problem is fix for good but the a/c is working now. For everyone's information, I unhooked the battery to replace the gears in the headlight motors and when I hooked the battery up the a/c started working.Does that make sense to anyone ?

I don't think there is a 'repair'. From what I recall, they are controlled by the electronics in the car and get out of whack sometimes. I thought something more was needed after the battery disconnect, but, maybe I'm remembering wrong and that needs done only if you have not disconnected the battery. In any case, I'm glad it's working for you now.
