Considering going BOOSTED
Okay all you boost guru's I have a couple of questions for you.
I'm a few days away from having some extra cash.
AND it's time for my FRC to get BOOSTED !
I can get either an A&A setup or a Procharger setup for about the same price, give or take $50 bucks.
My questions to you guys are:
Would either superchargers be a good choice ?
What's the cost of a turbo setup ?
How does a maggie stack up to a Novi type setup ?
Should consider a set of modded 317 heads (bigger valves, ported) vs a set of modded 243's (bigger valves, ported) ?

if you want problems and disappointment, go turbo..if you want reliability and more power then you can handle..go A and A.. pretty much plain and simple.

Okay so turbo's could possibly be out of the picture. What about the "heads" part of my questions ?

I just wanted to inform you on what the cost can be, I thought he had some good points that one may overlook on the install of a S/C

Yes, the thread did have did have some very good points. Most of the things he mentioned I already have except for a new clutch, some 317 heads....
