Drag radials or slicks?
Hello all,
I have decided to take the vette up to the strip to see what she is capable of....My question is, what is recommended for my application as far as tire size/type of tire? Here are the particulars; 420 rwhp,390 gears,6 speed,I will be running stock c5 wagon wheels on the back. Previously I purchased the car with 305-30-18 Nittos but ended up taking them off because they were near bald.Running 295-35-18 Firestone Firehawks now.Recommendations? I do know that the firestones go up in smoke through 3rd gear,no traction period.

MT ET Streets - that will do the trick and you will not need another tire for a long time at the track!
