Default AIR tube connection

Just getting ready to install my Kooks headers/xpipe on my C5Z. I got the race style header 6101 part number so (for a reference), they are the ones without the air tube connection on the top of the header.

What all will I have to remove to get rid of that assembly? I see the the connection on the driver side header has a tube the runs back behind the intake manifold (I'm assuming to the passenger side connection) and then one that runs towards the front of the car down in front of the wheel to something (I don't know exactly what). Will removing all of this have any negative/positive side effects? How hard is it to get behind the manifold to remove all of the necessary parts included in the entire assembly?

Thanks in advance. Pretty new to working on corvettes so any specificity is greatly appreciated.

You can basically pull all of this system off and cap it. It will throw a code but once the car is tuned it can be turned off. It will not effect how the car runs at all, just puts the SES light on. Of course that goes off once the car is tuned.

When the stock exhaust is out check to see if you can reach the bolt that holds the pipe behind the intake from below. I haven't been under there in a while but I think you can see/remove it without pulling the intake. The pipe bracket is slotted so you only need to loosen the bolt.
