Oil Pressure Low?
I have a question concerning my oil pressure on my 98. I did a search and couldn't find what I was looking for, unless I overlooked it. I noticed that my oil pressure is around 34 while cruising. What is normal pressure at idle and cruising, sorry if that has been asked before, but I am a newb to the C5.

I guess mine is the normal range then. I forgot to add what gear and the RPM's when I posted. The same 65 6th gear around 1500, so I guess mine is normal. I usually post more info in my posts but I didn't on this one.

Mine is a 98 and runs about 34 also in 6th about 70mph...I'm going to change it out...I'm use to the fbody's and mine had a ported ls6 pump and was never below 40. Just for piece of mind i guess.

My '02 Z06 is at 30~32 psi at idle (800 RPM) with 200 deg F, Mobil 1 5W-30. Typically, the oil pressure should increase ~10 psi for every 1000 RPM increase in engine speed (talking about stock oil pumps).
