The rear mounting holes from the hood to the hinges are slotted. You could loosen all 4 then raise the rear bolts a bit to increase the front slope of the hood...doing so will take an extra set of hands.
I've had my hood off more than once and this is the only way I see it happening. Of course, any change will effect the overall fit of the hood. Does it sit even at the back? Is there any play in the latches when it's closed?
Thank you C5Cemo for you answer!
I have not really noticed anything wrong at the back of the hood, but I will go and take a closer look at it.
Sounds like a good solution though!
Loosen the front bumper cover bolts and make some shims out of anything that water won't affect and place them under the bumper cover to raise it to the height of the hood, then tighten the bolts.
I had the same problem. Found out by looking/prodding around the bracket for the front bumper was loose. Difficult to get to, but you will need to check for loose bolts and brackets around the front bumper. Access via the headlight assembly. There are also adjustments on the sides at the top of the fenders to adjust the hood up and down.
