Oil dipstick part number
I am not sure which dip stick I need for my lq9 based 408.
I am using the corvette batwing oil pan which is more shallow than the lq9 oil pan.
What part number is the correct one for the dipstick the corvette or the one from an lq9 vehicle?
I am asking because I changed my oil and its reading too high. WAY too high.
I dont remember which one I used but I am thinking its the wrong one so if someone can post a part number or tell me which would give the correct reading I will go ahead and get one.

Will do the search but I really just need to know which stick to use not between the years of the vette so much as if I should be using a dip stick from a corvette or a lq9 engine. I have a 97 Vette but the oil pan is from a 2000 because I had to put everything in the engine bay.
From the reading I need a corvette dipstick from a 2000 vette.
