Does anybody have some detailed instructions? Links to Mike Mercury's don't seem to work for me. http://mikemercury.home.att.net/342.htm

dont forget to tighten the carrier or sub frame mounting bolts with a ratchet only, along with the trans/diff mount. An impact will break the bolts off the mount and break the weld for the nut on the frame! learned from experience, Later reading through the assembly manual I read where it says use hand tools only on these bolts. If you have an A4 best and easiest way is to remove BOTH the trans and diff in one piece at the same time---otherwise it's difficult to get just the diff removed as the rear trans shaft that goes into the diff is so long that you have to lower the whole engine/trans assy. and even remove the TQ tube cover to let it drop far enough-
