So my 2004 C5Z06 head lights do not come up on the stalk. Bulbs good both high and lo beam. Motors work to go up and down. I had this and no power to the OBD2 port. I had a blown fuse #29 in the footwell I replaced and got power back to the obd2 port AND the headlights work as instructed. Lights worked for 4-5 cycles over a couple of weeks just fine. They don't work again. Twisting the stalk lever you can hear the footwell solinid click. Fuse 29 is fine obd2 port is fine. How can this car fix itself when a fuse unrealted is changed now no work again? Does the car think it is an Alfa Romeo? All other fuse fine just like before. All ground checked. I know stalk switches go bad but mine seems to work. How can I test it. If it passes what do I check next? There are too many wires in this car for my pea brain. Any help appreciated for those who have had this problem before. I suck at electronics.

I had the same problem a while back. My headlights would light up but not flip up. I replaced the stalk (multi function switch), did not fix it. Replaced the headlight module, still no fix. Finally bent the tabs a little on the headlight module connector and everything works fine.
