I Need Some HELP!!! Headlight Issues!!!
So it seems that everytime you dive into a project that never ends with just one thing. Upon replacing the master cylinder, water pump, belts, and window motor I found another item that needed to be fixed (driver side headlight) but, am at a loss as to what is going on.
Problem - Driver Side Headlight
I'll try to be as specific as I can....
I noticed that the headlights were popping up when I engaged the running lights on the steering column switch. So everytime I need just the running lights on to illuminate the guage cluster (early morning or evening) the headlights pop up as well. I also noticed that the headlight motor was continually spinning several seconds after they popped up and when they were turned off. I replaced the old platic gears several months ago with the brass gears so I dont think that is the issue. I decided to unplug the driver side and check just the passenger side.... and nope, it engages as it should running lights on correctly and it pops up ONLY in the headlight position on the column switch. So now I think that the motor is out possibly or there is an electric gremlin running around somewhere... ANY HELP would greatly be appreciated.
