Everyone here seems to think not. But, you might check for places that sell the tops, they do have directions online, and you can read them and make that decision yourself. If you do it, think about doing a write up to help others .

What if the top I have is not a new top but one that is an OE take off with minimal wear ? Is it easier or harder to install if it has been pre fit ? I assume an installer would not want to put on a used top for me....
