Battery or Alternator?
Hey guys I'm not the best mechanically wise so I've turned to the forums!
I'm having the problem where my computer tells me "High Voltage" and just recently the car failed to start (no clicks). I took the battery to get charged at Autozone and they told me it made weird noses and fizzed but says it tested ok....sooo
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm thinking the alternator to be bad, and if so how much should I shoot for to replace/fix it?

Check the large red wire on the starter solenoid. That connection feeds the alternator and battery and can cause your issues and many more. It may be corroded or loose. You could have a bad battery, but I don't recall seeing any with high voltage.

You can do 2 things to verify whether the alternater is the culprit:
1. Test the alternator while it is installed or
2. Take it into the same place that tested the battery; most auto supply shops can test alternators as well.
