How do you like your intake? I know they don't make as much power as fast, but still more than my stock zo6 many with stock homeported tbody. What tbody are you using. Any fit problems? The 96mm won't fit the c5. I have a big cam, headers, no cats, no mufflers. 426rwhp with ls6 intake stock ported tbody. Thanks

There have been alot of reports of "leaking", and other fitment related problems attached to the 'Typhoon'. Get a set of budget heads from one of our fine vendors.

There are many who believe that a metal intake will not yield benefits. The heat sink defeats the purpose by ruining the density of the air/fuel charge. Most agree that only the Fast intakes are better than an LS6 intake.

Yeah, I changed my plan. I'm buying a ls6 intake with the 90mm snout, and bought a new ls2 throttle body to compliment my cam

I agree about upgrading heads (if you haven't already), especially since you'll already have the intake off. Big cam + stock heads = lost of power left on the table.

Who makes a 90mm LS6 intake? Are you talking about a FAST intake?

No one. There are vendors who modify a 2001+ intake to accept a 90mm TB.

Yep, got a deal on a tpis intake. New ls7 90mm throttle body.
I will do heads last. Want to see how much power I can make thru the stock heads. Right now i hhave the stock ls6 intake with stock homeported 75mm tbody, mayhem 2cam, obx shortie headers, no cats and no mufflers. Underdriven pulley. 426rwhp and 395ft lbs torque. Pulls like madd from 2000 to7000 rpms. I'm killing em on the street. Need some 19" toyo r888 tires for coming out of the hole.
