What do you guys reccomend?
Car makes 460+rwhp.
I dont want to have to do this again.
Thinking about the McLeod RXT..
Suggestions??
Thanks
I had the same issue before I finally replaced my stock clutch. With so much info out there and so many options available I was unsure of which clutch to go with.
After asking several local guys with modded cars I replaced my stock clutch with an RPS twin disk carbon unit. It works much better than stock and not a heavy pedal either...much smoother engagement and no issues to date.... .it handles my 521 rwhp (for now ) with no problems.
Here's my vote for Diamond Clutch. I've got their level 2 w/ lw flywheel and it's holding my 460ish just fine. So far I've got about 5k miles on it and I've got no issues.
How do you use your car? That'ss going to make a difference on what clutch to run. My 346 build made 460+ and I ran an LS7 clutch with an aluminum flywheel. I don't track my car and it worked great. Felt just like a stock clutch - because it is.
I run an RPS CC Street Lite Dual now with the 577/530 427. A great clutch but a lot more than you need.
