Fuel leak?
I have a 2001 z06 and every time I fill the tank to full there is a fuel odor for 2-3 days. It's not leaking on the ground. The fuel filter was recently replaced. I'm not sure if the cross over tube is the culprit or if it is the fill tube. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a simlar issue. It ended up being a sensor on the top of my pass side fuel tank and I needed to replace the entire tank. Then I forgot to connect one of the vent tubes and sprayed gas everywhere.
After fixing both those problems not another smell. Get under there and look around. Wait until you fill it up (don't top it off) and see if you can see any wet spots.
