Default reading codes on DIC for a C6

Anyone know if the procedure to read OBD codes using the DIC is the same for a C6 as it is for a C5?

Or where to find the C6 process so I can compare to C5 process?

I looked on the C6 Tech DIY thread and also searched in the Scan and Tune section and didn't see the C6 process.

Nah, Chevrolet took that away in the C-6 and probably in whomever's wisdom or lack thereof, decided we'd have to take the C-6's to their dealers instead. We can indeed get to the PCM/ECU codes with a CAN Enabled code reader but not the other codes.

Sounds like it's time for someone to track down the protocol and DIY a reader. Of course, it would be easier if someone found a cheat that makes the car spit out the info.

I looked into that a couple of weeks ago.

It makes you appreciate the C5's! A nice feature to have.

Of all the code readers out there, seems there would be more than Vetronix/Bosche that would produce a reader capable of getting to the other modules with having to shell out $3500 and more for a Tech2

Do any of the tuners have access? Like HP Tuners or EFI Live?
