2004 Fuel Filter
Hi all,
I know there has been some discussion here before on fuel filters and after spending an hour or so looking around under my 04 vert, I believe mine is also one of the integral tank ones. Someone had mentioned once that some 04s had external filters but I guess mine isn't one of them.
Just thought I would share that in case anyone else can use the info.
And by the way, I now have a new WIX filter I bought from Amazon if anyone needs on as their listing showed one for the car. Good price if anyone is interested.

No 2004's had external fuel filters...they are all part of the left tank assembly.

It is not just 2004's that have the filter as a part of the pump in the tank. Beginning about mid year for the 2003 C5 they changed the tanks to RPO FFS. That started with 2003 VIN 35114929 produced in November 2002. Fuel system FFS has the filter as a part of the pump assembly in the tank.
