throttle body question
i have a 98 ls1 and my throttle body doesnt have a cable. i have been looking at the bbk,s throttle bodys and the say the cable version is good up to the ls2 which is not cable. now my question is my 98 is an ls1 and it doesnt have a cable at least that i can see. can someone explain this to me??

You have a THROTTLE BY WIRE SYSTEM. You CAN NOT use a cable driven TB.
Your TB is not the HP limit for your engine. Your TB will easily support 400+ rwhp
Until you make the engine breath better by adding headers, cold air intake, better heads and a bigger cam,, leave the TB alone.
You can port the TB but, you gain little HP from it. It will help throttle response more than HP Gain.
