brake size
I know this might sound like a noob question, but I am wondering.....
I am not sure if my car came with ZO6 brakes or coupe brakes when I bought it (since the PO did a BIG ZO6 swap out on this)
Is there really any difference?
And if so is there any way to tell if they are ZO6 or coupe?
Measurement? anything that can be seen?
thanks

The brake hardware is the same with the exception of the caliper color and pad material.

While your in there, do youself a favor and install braided brake lines. Huge improvement in brake feel I found. Cheap upgrade also.

Good time to bleed your entire brake system too..
Do it right the first time ...

forgot about that.
Any idea who makes the best or has the best prices on braided lines?
I know Goodrich makes some, not sure of the prices. Given it doesnt have to be Goodrich just as long as they are good and they price is cheap. I found the brake rotors and pads for 190 bucks through brakemotive. I havent heard anything bad about them.
I am trying to get everything i can for as little as i can since basically I have been hit with multiple repairs at the same time.
H2 - AC
Vette - Brakes, clutch, and tuning
M3 - Brakes, hubs, and coolant reservoir.
Makes it super hard too when you have taxes due and other issues that eat up all the FUN Funds

I also installed EARL's brake bleeders in all 4 of my calipers at the same time. They only allow fluid to pass one way thru the valve so you can do a brake bleeds easily by yourself.
Check out my web site:

Look under section:
"SS Brake Lines, Speed Bleeder install, and Brake Fluid flush on my C5 Z06:"
Might give you some pointers that could help !

Are all C5 brake rotors and caliper sizes the same?
There is no difference between ANY C5 coupe, convert, or Z06 brakes
(other then the Z06 has a different pad) across all the years they made the C5
Is this correct?
