LMC5 Column Lock Eliminator
I just wanted to get on here and give props to Richard at Compliance Parts for my column lock eliminator.
During the install I found out my car had a previous recall done by the dealer which had a splice that required using a different wire to unlock the column, and a simple phone call and Richard had me find the right wires to unlock my column. Then come to find out my column lock motor was slightly seized, so I had to remove the knee bolsters under the steering column and tap on the motor to free it enough for the unlock kit to do it's job. After that the install was a breeze.
This is literally a 20min deal if you don't have to remove the knee bolster and free up the motor, then it still is only a 35-40min deal and a T25 torx and 7mm socket.
