Default Need a connector for disc changer.

I looked in the audio and C5 sections to no avail. I need the plug/pigtail for the disc changer. I do not need the complete harness. Does anyone have any info on a replacement plug ?

FSM shows that 10-pin connector (to the player) to be GM part # 12047531. Only 7 pins are used. Btw, that same connector body is used by other GM products it seems, but the wiring color codes are likely different than the Corvette. Those players were manufactured by Pioneer for GM, so I'm not sure if they are GM-specific connector bodies or maybe a stereo shop that handles Pioneer sales and installations can tell you if it's a common Pioneer style connector.

Doubt you'll find one new. Check with Marc at VetteNuts to see if they have a harness that's been damaged due to collision and maybe he'll cut it off for you.

go to oreillys and ask to look in the Borg Warner paper catalog. it will take some begging for them just to get it out from under the counter. not sure if the connector you want is in it, but it will show several oem GM connectors.

My CD changer is out at this time. If you need pictures and description of which color wires go to which connector pins I can do that. Just reply to this post or email me.

Note my car is a 2001 and I don't know if the colors are the same for other years.

I don't need the info but please post it for others. I have mine semi-intact but I've had to pop out pins and solder wires back on but I'm sure others could use the info.
