Torque Converter....Is it easy install?
Hi all, I want my Pro Torque TC 2800 installed as well as 3.42 gears. Ist this an easy install that a mechanic can do? I have one tuner has worked on many C5 manuals and built/rebuilt many racing ZO6's. He says it shouldn't be any problem. Is this true, it's a pretty easy install? Or do I need a specialist who knows Torque converters to do the install? Any help would help on who to send my C5 to for these modifications.

TC replacement uses the same steps as one would use for the carrier swap. There was a great article in Corvette Fever covering this procedure step-by-step.

IM playing with the idea 1) MN6 go to 373 or 390 2) 342 w/ yank
torque converter in A4.Have to look into financial swaps/exchanges
etc Got the crew!! Any ideas who gives good prices on exchanges
