One of the 2 foam seals that run along the lateral edges between the condenser and the front shroud got displaced from its proper placement and its bottom half is loose and hanging in front of the condenser.
Seems to me that to put it back in place I would need to remove the shroud so I can re-glue it. Can anyone describe or give me a step-by-step procedure to remove the shroud? I've done many searches here and in the General section, but haven't found anything.
I had the same problem with my Z06. You do not have to remove the entire shroud to re glue the insulator foam in place Go to the local big box home repair store and get some double sided 1/8" sticky foam tape. The shroud is flexible enough that you can raise the section needing repair and attach the tape and then slide the insulating foam in place. It was easiest for me to do the job from under the car. You can also clean out all the accumulated leaves and garbage caught in the AC condensor while you are under there.
