exhaust leak.. i hope...
my 98' at about 1200 rpm makses this whistling soudn out fo the back fo the car and does it until i hit 1500 in which it sounds like its farting and then goes back a nice healthy sounding car.. i juts bought stingers and havent installed them yet so im hoping its the stock exhaust.... any opinions?

Does it make the sound in neutral as well as in the various gears? If so, I'd agree, it's probably the exhaust. If it only makes the sound while driving (i.e., in gear) than it is probably something in the running gear, not the exhaust. If it only makes the noise in neutral, it is probably the exhaust and you most likely just don't hear it in gear due to road/wind noise.
Either way, even if the new exhaust doesn't fix it, it should at least cover it up! :crazy:
