OK, so my car is running again. I cut the water neck and had it welded so it points staight out. This let me run a hose right down to the radiator. No more air bubble for me. I finished the compression check and reset the PCM by pulling the two PCM fuses. I started it up and it is running as smoothly as it ever did. I still need to autotap it to see what codes it is throwing, but at least it is running again. My engine is still running a little hot, but it is not overheating. I verified flow through the radiator by revving it up a little and watching the turbulence in the water. No oil in the water, thank God. I still need to seal the fans to the radiator to get more air flow through it.
My question for you guys. How hot do your heater hoses get with the heater on? Mine seem to be getting quite warm.
I'm very glad to hear that there wasn't any serious damage :yesnod: :smash:
As far as the hoses, yeah...to me, they feel warm...
Keep us updated on that beautiful combo you've got :smash:  :D
