Well guys I found the issue, will order parts tomorrow..... Looks like I snapped my aftermarket hardened mainshaft yet again!!! Now my money will be going towards shocks, braces etc.... To make my car hook and not wheel hop. Then ill worry about go fast goodies lol.... Anyways onto pics....
Can anyone give a list of all parts that should be replaced to avoid wheel hop? I have an A4 with a 3.42 rear end and soon a high stall converter. The stress on the drivetrain is a worry to me.

Shocks, springs, bushings... what else?
My Coupe has an A4, 3:42's, 2800 stall, 421 rwhp. IMHO the best thing I did to reduce wheel hop was adding Pfadt coilovers (i.e. losing the leaf springs). It also stopped the inherent rear-end swing out to the right when breaking the tires loose.

That is my configuration and with drag radials and a fair number of passes down the 1/4 mile nothing has broken. I have the hardened output shaft and that is it.
You have to pay attention to the car and shut it down when you get wheel hop though. It is difficult to completely abolish wheel hop so it is important to know the signs and back off.

Ya, Ill be very careful till I get used to it then.
i have a sticky tire and i launch hard.... transmission only had 20k miles... i have a built diff. the mainshaft was an upgraded one as well... going to invest in a pfadt brace as well....
car is an 02 btw... its not so much "wheel hop" its the drivetrain shake
At least it seems like you are capable at wrenching. Should save you a lot of money and you should know everything was done "correctly". Too bad you can't do it in a garage.
yah, it takes me about 20 mins to pull a diff and about 20 mins to pull the transmission.... its actually really easy once you've done it as many times as i have
I recently put my Z back together after shattering my stock diff. I added an ECS trans brace, and a Pfadt diff mount/brace, and per instructions, removed the factory dampner. I can't definatively say my wheelhop is gone, because I'm still driving it pretty easy. I have broken the tires loose for about 100 feet or so, and rather than still needing to counter-steer to the right to stay straight, there was no hop/shudder that I could feel. That was at about a 50 roll. I've never gone hard from a dig, (on this car) because it'd just spin anyway, and tires are expensive.
