DOES ANY ONE KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THESE TWO LS6 INTAKE MANIFOLD VALLEY COVERS, 12568002 AND 12577927? I AM GOING TO DO THE PCV COVERSION ON MY LS1 AND WANT TO KNOW WHICH ONE WOULD WORK BETTER OR HAS AN ADVANTAGE OVER THE OTHER. LOOKING ONLINE I FOUND THAT, IN GENERAL, THE 12577927 IS ABOUT $15.00 CHEAPER BUT I CAN’T OTHERWISE DISCERN ANY DIFFERENCE.

Get the 12577927 it is the newer of the two and has the pcv valve integrated into it.

I FOUND OUT THAT THE 12568002 IS FOR AN LS1 BLOCK AND THE 12577927 IS FOR AN LS2 BLOCK. SINCE I HAVE A 2000 I WENT WITH THE FIRST BUT APPARENTLY BOTH WILL WORK. THE 12568002 ALSO HAS A PCV SYSTEM WHICH DOES NOT REQUIRE THE PCV VALVE. I FIGURE THAT WITH A CATCH CAN NO OIL WILL BE GETTING INTO THE INTAKE. TAHNX FOR ALL YOUR HELP, IT IS MOST APPRECIATED.
