ok so i got the new head gasket put on and all, and everything put back together, but when i went to start it the starter turned once then stopped!! and now i cant get anything out of it!
i checked the battery, and its still charged! the starter is brand new, and i made sure i put the head and all back on properly. any suggestions as to what might be wrong?
If you replaced the head gasket, have you checked for coolant in the cylinders? Possibly something did not go back together correctly and it leaked. Coolant will not compress. Now if the starter isn't turning on, that's another matter.

Try to turn the engine by hand at the crank. If it spins free then start checking your starting circuit. If its locked, you need to stop cranking immediatly and find out what mechanically is stopping the rotation
WONT START is a pretty broad diagnosis and the "and now i cant get anything out of it! " It’s even harder to diagnose.
SO,, when you turn the IGNITION SWITCH to start, does the starter make ANY noise or attempt to engage???
My very first thought was "Is the engine locked up or hydro locked???? STRONGLY recommend that you exhaust that possibility right off the bat! Remove the plugs and rotate the engine crank by hand. If it won’t rotate clock wise. Rotate it counter clockwise.
If its free to turn, then you have a starter/electrical issue.
If the engine is locked up,,, STOP trying to start it as you run the risk of doing this!!!
ok i solved the problem! thanks for your help guys!! the solenoid wasnt getting any power because of a frayed wire. so all is good and the car runs great!
And thankfully i didnt get coolant in any of the cylinders and once i replaced the solenoid and wiring, the car started right up without any problems!!
i also replaced the starter just in case so now it has a brand new starter.
and i will hopefully have all the trouble codes from the DIC posted within the next day or so!!
thanks again guys for all yer help and suggestions!
