Hard goin into Reverse
Friend says his 2002 6sp (Ripper) Coupe is a real pain first thing in the AM to get into reverse. 4k miles, any thoughts? Linkage adjustment, time for tranny fluid change?

Do a search, a lot of answers just came in about 2 weeks ago about this. Its normal, people have different methods, I put the clutch in run through first, second then to reverse works everytime. Dont force it. Ive had a jeep that did the same thing. I dont know how many responses you'll get. This topic just ran through here.

As sitpulated- I have the same with my 2001 Z06. I go into any forward gear and then into reverse on the first back out in the morning. There are no syncro's on reverse and alot depends on the position of the carrier alignment at turn-off of your engine. No biggie- just an querk of our C5's!
