you sure its the fuse?
These are known to break the pins that hold it up pointed at the windshield.....
just a thought....hope it is only a fuse - - beats pulling the dash...

The HUD is powered from the IPC (Instrument Panel Cluster), no separate fuse, if your cluster is working correctly, then your problem is probably the HUD itself.
They use a vacuum florescent display that requires high voltage, the displays and power supplies (both internal to the HUD) do go bad, I have a couple dead ones laying around.
