I have been looking into an aftermarket exhaust system for my Z06 pretty soon. So, my current exhaust would be for sale in the future. However, i have made an observation ; my tips don't look like the the other z06 exhaust tips. They are a a bronzer color than a polished finish even after a cleaning. I'm not sure if it is a true TI exhaust. How can i be sure? I dont want to advertise something for sale that is not genuine.
You can also look at the welds on the pipes. Ti welds are a diff color than stainless. They should look like the were just welded yesterday if they are Ti.
If your after a different sound, go ahead and change the axleback. But you will not be improving performance over a Ti-system. They are very good. Just wanted to throw that out there. If you are strictly going for performance, spend the money elsewhere.
