Traction Control Warning After Using Emergency Flashers?
Took the Vette out the other night to put up some posters. I had to park near a Stop sign so I put on the emergency flashers just to play it safe, with the engine running. I get back in the car, turn off the flashers, start moving and within a few yards, a warning light comes on that says "have the traction control system serviced". I'm not too happy, thinking I just bought this thing and in a month the EBCM goes out. I turn the engine off, let it sit for a few seconds, start it up and all is well.
I go to the next stop, turn on the flashers with the engine running and the same warning comes on. Turn the engine off, restart and everything is fine. I decided to not use the flashers again and the warning has not happened since (have driven the car several times).
It's a 04, A4. Can someone tell me what happened?
(I know someone will say "if the car hurts when you turn on the flashers, don't turn on the flashers)"

You need to pull the codes and see whats going on. Traction control errors always set codes. This link explains how.
