Door Control Module. Either Left or Right i.e., LDCM or RDCM.

Black not silver.

You're talking about the Body Control Module. Totally different thing.

Each door has it's own module, either Left Door Control Module or Right Door Control Module. They are located on the door behind the interior panels. They have internal relays that command the locks, mirrors and windows to operate.

The body control module oversees all other body modules and is located under the passengers foot rest.

The Body Control Module (BCM) is metal/silver. The door modules are plastic/black.

"The" black one? What is this "door" your talking about? A "door" is something you open, to get in or out of the vehicle.

The only "silver" module with pink/green connectors is the BCM as described already.

Sounds like you need to seek professional help.

I wish I could post a pic of it. Yes in the diver's side door. I'll see if I can find a pic somewhere.

This?

Or this?

These are typical examples of a BCM and they are not located in the door; driver's or otherwise.

Are you trying to work on a C5 Corvette that has been modified? Does it have some sort of aftermarket stereo system that's been installed? You haven't provided any information as to year model, modifications, etc.

My crystal ball's kinda dirty and I'm fresh out of Windex at the moment.
