Patriots888, go to Tech Tips on this forum and there is a tip on how to remove the sunvisors, its easy! I took mine off and also wrote the tip. Once they are off of the car you can see if the noise goes away, then grease them I guess, but the noise may be something else, like the wiring connections to the lighted mirrors. You will just have to get in there and see, good luck.
I’m 6’5” and the driver’s side visor has to go so I can have a better view. Any ideas of what to do with the hole that is left behind after the removal?
Hex29A, I have to admit that I just left mine open, thing is, when you are tall, you can't really see the hole, so out of sight, out of mind!
I’ll leave the hole open too then until a better solution comes along.
What about the connector that supplies power to the visor mirror? Is there a possibility that it can move away from the roof hole? Did you have to secure it somewhere/somehow so that if you need to put the visor back the connector is reachable?
