Sticking starter

I had the same problem. It was the starter solenoid sticking. Not a nice feeling when you turn the key off and the starter keeps spinning the engine over and wont stop!

Just started having this problem also - It really is a horrible feeling when you hear sounds like that from your Vett and an even worse feeling when you remove the key and it keeps on going. Was glad that the hubby found this on here, so I can get my car fixed real soon!

Yeah - Middle River is great, love it here. I love all the new stuff appearing in the area - houses, stores, etc. Dundalk is a nice area all in all, too. My dad used to want to live there because he worked at the plant.

Hey Bill - looks like you know a lot about these cars - I also have a noise when I start the car when it is cold that sounds like a pebble bouncing on metal, it's not the valves tapping, and goes away as soon as it's warm. Any ideas?
