The only thing I don't like about the Goodyear's is the price. I just don't see them being 50% more money than any other tire on the market. Nicer? perhaps. That much nicer? I say not.

ps.... I have GY F1's on my car now.

I have a 99 vert with auto. The only mod that would increase HP is a set of cat backs. With that said, I used to get a big kick out of turning off the traction control, rolling along at about 20-25 MPH, and just flooring it. The dam Good Years would light up like a cheap Christmas tree. Smoke all the way down the street. No more good years for me.

Just to be fair here, I would bet that many who are complaining about the GY RF's are trying to compare a few year old tire to the feel of a new tire. Anything would better than an old hardened up tire past it's prime.
