clutch question
have a Monster level 3. clutch has 18k miles on it and 99.9 of the miles is daily driver. Two (2) dyno runs, 2-4 - 3k launches.
What is happening is that number one the chatter is going away thank god. it pulls in 5-6th gear just fine on the highway, tested it yesterday at a 3k launch and it hooks up. Punched it from a roll in 2nd and it hooks. now for the strange part.
Today i was just driving down the street. Left a light normally and then for a second there wasnt a connection from the revs and speed. you could feel a disconnect. Sometimes when leaving a light or stop, it pulls and then slips then holds. Just had the slave replaced 1k miles ago due to a burnt hose on the exhaust and the disc and pressure plate looked just fine.
What would cause the clutch to act like this?? it has been doing this for around 5k miles now.
