Figured out which one to use from another LS engine and bought it. Lost in a move--any help on the part number? Car is '99 LS1. THX.

The good folks at CCA can hook you up with magnetic drain plugs for the engine, transmission and the differential.

Or you can drill into the end of the stock plug and epoxy a magnet into it. Strong magnets aren't that expensive. http://www.mcmaster.com/#rare-earth-magnets/=jnuq6g
