Even if you have a coupe, it's handy. With the windows rolled down it's easier to squeeze into tight parking spots, or cramped garages. I thought I had a problem with mine...I couldn't get it to save high speed, or so I thought. I even emailed support@topdowntech.com, and told them I never saw a higher saved speed than 40 MPH on the speedo. Rather than make fun of my ignorance, he politely explained that the top speed shown is 140. When the tachometer is at 1, that's 100mph, then add whatever the speedometer show...I'm a idiot. RTFM!

well in all defense sometimes you park in the corner and htis will put a wall on one side of your vette, you want to get as close to allow the car on your right the most possible room so this could come in handy. also like me in some tight garages, I encounter this ever evening and am thinking of getting it just for that but also for the  factor ya know play tunes and then just shut them off and close the windows from teh remote  one  though will this unit need to be reset if it is removed for hypertech programming  or in anyway affect hypertech programming :seeya

The Window Valet remembers its configuration even when unplugged. For the Hypertech update, simply unplug the Window Valet and put it back when you're done.

Thanks,

There's only one vendor. http://www.topdowntech.com Get it this month, next month the price goes up. Best $133.49 that I've spent to date on a gaget.

I put mine in Saturday and highly recommend it. My '98 Vert does have "auto lock." Owners manual states 10 mph is the magic speed.

Mike of TopDownTech, I just bought a used WV from a CF buddy. Can I change registration so if any future upgrades or news are released I can be included.

Thanks.
