Well i did it again, I bought this set of headers off fleabay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/380478954841...84.m1439.l2649
Stated to be for a 97-04 corvette, I got them in and they appear to be way to long, the cats are going to set way back in the tunnel area. could they be for a C6? The end of the collector is going to be at the back side of the original cats measuring from the support mounts on the bell housing.

Some C5 headers are long like this. It's a good thing for torque.
What brand?
Plus if you didnt get the 02,s wiring, you will have to buy now the ext wiring for the stock one,s. 80.00 more with more mod,s come more money.Robert
I did get a pair of o2 extensions with the headers. it looks like the fronts will have to have them also. the end of the collector is @ the end of where the stock cats sit, so the cats will be in the tunnel area is that OK?
Bill, should I leave the rear O2's in or plug the hole and have them tuned out? I could see yours were still in place. I'm hoping to get it to 425-435 RWHP after the fast 90, T/B, Vararam, a head change and new cam. Street stomper only.
The rears are there only to tell the PCM if the CATs are working efficiently or not. Mine are now TUNED off. If you have long primary headers, if you try to use the rears, you may wind up throwing CAT codes due to CAT inefficiency.
I would have then tuned OUT so you don't need to worry about them any more...
