Default Passenger Seat Track

Does anyone know if there's a way to manually slide the seat back? My seat track on the passenger seat is frozen in the most forward position. I need to slide it back and can't put down the $500 for a new seat track at the moment.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Dan

With a schematic (Seat Control Module) and a +12V (IIRC) power source you should be able to energize that seat motor to move it rearward. Of course, this assumes that the motor itself is not fried. Have you checked the fuses?

I have checked the fuses and they're fine. I left the window cracked during a downpour one day and the seat has stopped moving forward or backward. However, it still moves up and down. Maybe a motor has gone bad? I'm sure there has to be a way to move the seat back without a power source. I would rather not pay $400 for another seat track assembly.
