IAT should work. Here's the harness I used... It plugged right in, except I had to trim a plastic tab on the connector to fit.

Is the Buick Regal/GN IAT in that link you posted calibrated the same as the C5 IAT? Why not use the C5 IAT?

You said you want "ditch" your MAF but need a MAF/IAT adapter harness? Are you not going to be using a MAF? Are you going speed density tuning?
Also, the harness you linked looks like one for a Pontiac G8 using to use the LS7 blade-type MAF and won't work or fit unless you use that style MAF, etc.

If you're not "ditching" your MAF, what MAF ARE you going to use? The late model C5 5-pin style? The late model C5 style 5-pin MAF has the IAT built into it. IOW, it's not a separate IAT sensor like the early C5 units. That's why it has 5 pins. If you are, then use this AWS adapter:

Auto Wiring Solutions is the company and they sell them on that big auction site. Type in: 5 WIRE MAF TO 3 WIRE HARNESS ADAPTER with IAT

thanks for the info. I have been running SD for years...just been lazy about doing this beacause of the IAT breakout. Yes, it is an 01 Z06. MAF has been installed solely for the use of the IAT. I am just ready to clean it up now (take it out).

I bought the straight pipe to take place of the maf so I just need this IAT and MAF to IAT harness.

Ok, I see what you're doing now. Check out Racetronix's site too. I generally prefer their products ever since I had a not-so-fun bad experience with a Casper's piece awhile back. They also have a discrete IAT pigtail in case you want to fab something up that way too.

This is their part # PGTL-002:

Thanks, but went ahead and ordered the one on ebay: 5 WIRE MAF TO 3 WIRE HARNESS ADAPTER with IAT

Now I am just not sure what IAT I can get that will be plug and play. I keep reading about re-scaling tables, which I dont have a problem with doing, but id rather not have to if the right part exists.

I cut my IAT sensor and pig tail out of a cavalier. Works perfect. There's one from a camero that is threaded. I have the part number somewhere if you want it.
